INDEPENDENT ADVICE ON POLITICSUK POLITICIAN OF THE YEAR

With all the information at hand, we have thoroughly researched the validity of PUK Politician of the Year and concluded that there is no evidence of either fake profile voting or being "rigged" by either Mr Reynolds or CLEAR

Facebook polls are far from the most secure mechanism. The idea of them is to increase activity on a facebook page. They are supposed to be viral in that a campaign/movement/party could “latch onto the poll”.

With Facebook being a social media platform any virility, either organic or a conscious effort by a group can not be stopped and should be factored in.

Even if we take away the votes that were directed from CLEAR.org, Mr Reynolds would still have won by a great margin.

We have contact a % of voters who voted for Mr Reynolds and they confirm that they are real and voted for Mr Reynolds freely.

Our advise is such:
1- Mr Reynold retains the award of PoliticsUK Politician of the Year.
2-PoliticsUK implements a strategy in that future award are done on a more secureplatform.

Added by Alan Wyllie.

PoliticsUK stands by the Politician of the Year award being awarded to Mr Peter Reynolds of CLEAR.
The poll has been verified by both PoliticsUK staff and an independent group and fake profiles have NOT been found on the poll. There is no evidence whatsoever that the Award was "rigged".
PoliticsUK would like to apologise to Mr Reynolds for any distress that this process may have caused.

  1. Well done Peter you deserve it after all your hard work!! Let's hope 2012 is a good year for the war against prohibition! I would like to say that, if Al Capone didn't teach the entire planet prohibition does not and will never work, it's a sad state of affairs! We as a nation are indirectly funding gangsters who commit terrible crimes, human trafficking, terrorism etc via buying this 'safe plant' (cannabis) from dealers. As mention in many studies approx 7 to 12 BILLION a year goes to these gangsters through their involvement in cannabis 'factories' does this make sense to you? In your in doubt just watch a DVD by pstv called the true history of marijuana! This I promise will change your opinion for ever!!!!!
